Performance Measures
As Director of the Oregon Lottery®, it is my privilege to present the Lottery’s Annual Performance Measures Report for 2007 which has been filed with the Department of Administrative Services.
Although the Lottery is not a mandatory reporter, we believe it is important to participate in this program in order to provide the citizens of Oregon with a better understanding of the Lottery and what it accomplishes each year. I am pleased to report that the Lottery met or exceeded its goals.
In 2007, the Oregon Lottery® celebrated 22 years of doing good things for Oregon and Oregonians. As you will see from the Report, we again produced a record sales year resulting in record support for Oregon’s programs for public education, economic development, job creation, state parks, and watershed enhancement/salmon habitat restoration. We look forward to continuing to improve our performance. In addition, we anticipate providing new and exciting games for our players.
