Lottery’s St. Patrick’s Day RaffleSM Tickets Are Sold Out!
Salem, Ore. (February 6, 2009) All of the available 250,000 tickets for the Oregon Lottery®’s new St. Patrick’s Day RaffleSM ticket have been sold. The new Raffle game went on sale at 5 AM, Sunday, January 25, 2009. The last Raffle ticket available was sold at 2:02:57 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2009.
“We are excited about the quick sellout that far exceeded our expectations,” said Lottery Director Dale Penn. “Be sure to sign the back of your St. Patrick’s Day Raffle ticket and put it in a safe place until the March 17 winning numbers announcement. And for those who missed getting a Raffle ticket this time, you’re in luck because we’ve already started planning for our next Raffle game.”
Here are some St. Patrick’s Day Raffle facts:
- Ticket #1 was sold at 5:00:28 AM on Sunday, January 25, 2009 in Oak Grove
- Ticket #250,000 was sold at 2:02:57 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2009 in Salem
- The largest single-day ticket sales were 29,979 on Wednesday, February 4, 2009
- Average daily ticket sales were 20,833
The winning numbers for all Raffle game prizes, including the $1 million jackpot, will be announced on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2009. To see the winning numbers, go to the Lottery’s Web site at oregonlottery.org on March 17.
