Someone’s About to Win $1 Million!
Winning St. Patrick’s Day RaffleSM Number to be Announced Tomorrow
Salem, Ore. (March 16, 2009) A press conference at the Oregon Lottery® office in Salem will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 to announce the $1 million winning number for the Lottery’s St. Patrick’s Day RaffleSM. Shamus O’Shaughnessy, the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle leprechaun, will announce the winning number at 8:30 AM.
The public is invited to be at the Lottery office when Shamus announces the $1 million winning Raffle number. The winning number announcement will also be streamed live beginning at 8 AM on the Lottery’s Web site at www.oregonlottery.org.
In addition to the $1 million top prize, the $10 St. Patrick’s Day Raffle ticket offered players the chance to also win 10 prizes of $20,000 and 1,000 prizes of $100. The Lottery began selling the 250,000 St. Patrick®s Day RaffleSM tickets at 5 AM on January 25, 2009. By 2 PM Thursday, February 5, all 250,000 of the tickets had been purchased.
Following the St. Patrick’s Day announcement, players can check their Raffle tickets at any Oregon Lottery retail location, or go to the Lottery’s Web site at www.oregonlottery.org for a complete list of all 1,011 winning Raffle numbers.
