Oregon Lottery®’s Thanksgiving Raffle^SM Tickets Selling Fast

Salem, Ore. (Oct. 8, 2009) Tickets for the Oregon Lottery®’s newest Raffle game, the Thanksgiving Raffle^SM, went on sale at 5 AM on Sunday, October 4. And at the rate they are being sold, it won’t be long until all 250,000 Thanksgiving Raffle tickets are gone!

As of Thursday, October 8, nearly 120,000 Thanksgiving Raffle tickets have been sold.

“Our first Raffle game sold out in just 12 days” said Lottery Director Dale Penn, referring to the March 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Raffle game. “At the current rate the Thanksgiving Raffle tickets are being sold, all 250,000 tickets could be gone as early as Monday or Tuesday next week.”

In addition to the one $1 million top prize, the Thanksgiving Raffle game also offers these prizes:

• 10 prizes of $20,000
• 1,000 prizes of $100

The Thanksgiving Raffle game offers a $1 million top prize and with a total of 250,000 tickets, creates the best odds of any Lottery game of winning $1 million.

To see how many Thanksgiving Raffle tickets remain, players can go to the Lottery’s Web site at www.oregonlottery.org. The winning Thanksgiving Raffle numbers will be announced on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. The Lottery recommends that you always sign the back of your tickets with each Oregon Lottery game you play to help ensure you can claim any prize you may win.
